As a Latin X co-owned company we can not be more excited to announce our newest partnership with our friends at Rosa Perreo, REGGAETON RAVE.
Rosa Perreo is a reggaeton DJ duo who are responsible for fueling Latin X culture in NYC and one of the strongest forces in NYC reggaeton club scene. Through this partnership, Young Hero will be leading all branded content and brand partnerships with the ongoing event series.
We kicked off our partnership during Hispanic Heritage month. The event took place at the iconic Gramercy Theater where a massive crowd took on the night with incredible energy. Live performances by Dos Flakos & Shell X were the big headliners with opening DJ sets by D’Marquesina & Rosa Perreo.
The undeniable increase of collaborations between Reggaeton and Electronic Dance Music (EDM) has had a positive impact on both industries on multiple levels. Most recently, the notoriously famous Reggaeton artists, J Balvin and Bad Bunny have performed at various live EDM-related events, specifically, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Coachella, and GOV balls in New York City.
The consumption of Reggaeton music in the past three (3) years has outpaced EDM in the U.S., and now more than ever this unity is meant to happen. The rise of Reggaeton across the globe is expanding the genre to new listeners from different cultures and ages; these collaborations and artistic presence at festivals are only the beginning and we’re exciting to be leading the way throuh this partnership.
