Art for Action to #stopasianhate is now live.

Over the next two weeks, we will be sharing the artwork and stories of AAPI artists, collaborators and friends of the YH network.

First up is Young Hero’s own Ed Lim aka @edelghost. All proceeds from the purchases of his piece “Care” will go to Heart of Dinner, a nonprofit organization delivering love to Asian elders in NYC, 1 meal at a time.

Tell us a little bit about yourself: where you're from / you & your family's background.

A: I'm from Seoul, Korea, and I moved to the states in middle school. Now I work in NY, as a part of a talented and multicultural team and I'm very grateful for that.

Can you elaborate on the artwork you made: The story behind it . Personally, what does the art symbolize to you?

A: The artwork is about caring. I think the word means different things for everyone but at the same time is at the center of a lot of problems we face.

What does the organization you chose mean to you and why that specific one? Why do you feel others should be aware of it & supporting it as well?

A: I like the idea of helping seniors with food, while also supporting local Asian businesses. Everyone likes food.
