Museum of plastic

The traveling gallery designed to end single-use plastic water bottles

The Museum of Plastic was a traveling gallery that served as the first stop on Lonely Whale’s mission to end the single-use plastic water bottle crisis. Each iteration welcomed local creators to exhibit their own educational artwork about the problems with plastic and the benefits of sustainable alternatives.

Designed with co-branded sponsorship in mind, we welcomed partners to showcase their solutions. The museum then doubled as a space for Aluminum Canned Water launches, sustainably designed tech product displays, even reusable bottle brand installations. Programming highlights included talks with fashion designer Heron Preston, The United Nations President of the General Assembly.
