GIVE A MASK
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Young Hero engaged in a pro bono mission to address the large scale healthcare needs of doctors, nurses, first responders, and essential workers across the country with GiveAMask.co, a direct mask-to-worker donation system.
Our Partners
& Young Hero’s Role
The partnership included menswear entrepreneurs Ari Ackerman and Adam Low, Ryan Zimmerman of L.A. based manufacturer Arzee International, and PR specialist Samantha Moray. Young Hero’s role was to provide brand identity, web design, social strategy, as well as a go-to-market launch campaign that inspired people to #GiveAMask.
3D Design, Strategy
& Creative Direction
Knowing that everyone not on the frontline was searching for ways to help from home, we chose to approach our brand identity with optimism and approachability. Key to this was a range of custom 3D characters and a hopeful color system. Our social messaging also reinforced this meaningful and encouraging tone.
Social Toolkit
Donating a mask was just one way for people to show their support. We also created a number of digital assets for fans and donors to share and help others learn about the program.
Brand
Collaborations
In addition to partner hospitals and organizations to whom we distributed the masks, the program also included a collaboration with streetwear brand Chinatown Market who promoted the Give A Mask mission and supported the initiative by donating proceeds of masks sold on their site.
