LA TAILGATE
EXPERIENCE

Together with Figment Experiential and the Discover LA Tourism, Young Hero designed a 3-day event for New Yorkers to try Los Angles themed drinks, food and games in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Event programming and experiences were designed to celebrate LA sports and upcoming milestone dates—like the Olympics and Super Bowl—destined for the City of Angels. Care was taken not only in the design of visual touch points for the Discover LA brand, but spatial relationships between installations through full 3D rendered maps of the location.

Custom LA-themed Cornhole bags, Merch printed in partnership with Obey, and Doggo Bandanas were the only thing guests could bring home. West Coast inspired ink were also on served up by local LA tattoo artist Maya.

NEW YORK NICO
Live Podcast

The weekend was hosted by rapper, podcaster and LA K-town local Jonathan Park aka Dumbfoundead. Joining him for the ultimate “LA vs NY” debate was Brooklyn’s own New York Nico. The duo even sat for a live podcast session, recorded with guests and bystanders from inside an authentic LA lowrider.
